Our community response to Coronavirus
The Shul is reopening!
Based on Government guidelines, we are starting to reopen the Shul for some services. For full information and all your questions answered we have put together a detailed document that covers every aspect and it has been shared with our members in the newsletter.
If you would like a copy, please get in touch.
As part of our community response to Covid 19, we’ve teamed up with BES and are trying to ensure that every street in Elstree and Borehamwood has a local support group to look out for the vulnerable and isolated. This is in addition to our already established and highly successful “Helping Hands” group. Please check to see if your street or block has a blue heart on this map: http://tiny.cc/1lcwmz
If not, please fill in this survey: http://tiny.cc/cqcwmz Also mention you are part of Ohr Yisrael.
Once we’ve worked out how much of the town we already have covered (hence the survey), we’ll look to work with other local faith and community groups to fill the gaps.
Thanks to everyone that has already responded – we’ve clocked 42 support groups so far!
If you would like to be part of it (or if you need a helping hand yourself), please let Deborah know via our contact page.
Thanks in advance and praying that you stay safe and strong.
